Tracy Anderson the vanishing act?

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been forever. Many things have happened lately, both good and bad and I've missed being able to share them with you. I uploaded a vid on youtube which explains some of the things but I figured I'd get a bit more personal on here. Irrational or not, I always feel like my blog is somewhat more intimate than my youtube. Because I'm an extremely lazy person at the moment who has taken on the philosophy of refusing to do anything academic (and yes, I mean writing....I wasn't kidding when I said lazy), I will list these recent developments instead of document them in paragraph form. 'Specially cuz I'm extremely A.D.D. (suprised?)

1. I graduated law school!!
2. I took, and passed the bar exam!! I am now Tracy Anderson J.D.
3. My sister had her babies (yes, twins)....they are absolutely adorable and precious and soo itty bitty tiny. They have also made me realize how much patience I actually have. There is obviously a disconnect between my general bullshit tolorance for adults and children, and for little babies. I think that goes without saying. But I like having state the obvious contests with myself so I said it anyways.

4. My sister got married!! Her and her husband and the babies still live with me which is awesome. As the Maid of Honor I was responsible for planning a large portion of the wedding, WHILE studying for the bar exam WHILE graduating law school. Fun times. Totally and unbelievably worth it though.
5. I joined a clinical trial for a medication that is supposed to help with certain thyroid disorders that effect your adrenal and pituitary glands. It ended up allowing me to lose an insane amount of weight. It's not a weight loss medication, it simply allowed me to lose weight like a regular person. In other words, the crazy workouts and strict eating habits (1200 calories a day, VERY limited simple carbs, starches, and 12-16 glasses of water/day) ACTUALLY resulted in weight loss!! Had I not been working out and dieting the medication would have done nothing in terms of weight loss. It kind of made all those workouts matter, on a superficial level of course. Basically it made my body respond to calorie intake/excerise as if I didn't have a thyroid/metabolic disorder.

*HOWEVER, it didn't get FDA approval yet :( The clincal trial ended a few weeks ago and the medication has been out of my system for almost 2 weeks now. In that time I've gained about 7 pounds (I think I said 4 in my vid- I meant to say that in the first week I gained back 4 pounds). My doctor told me that I will almost definately gain back all the weight, and then some potentially. He also said that my metabolism sort of "crashed" (I dont remember what he actually called it...I don't speak doctor) after my body withdrew from the meds so I will likely gain back the weight at a rate just as fast, if not faster than I initially did. SO....good news for people who like to watch girls gain weight , bad news for me. Like I say in my video...it's not as much about the SIZE for me as it is about the lack of CONTROL over my own body/weight.

*I will be documenting the (re)gain on here and possibly on youtube if you all want. Lemme know.

6. I, uh, got engaged. Very briefly. Like 4 days briefly....yeah. Big mistake, and a long story for another time. But now I'm headed out to pick up dinner. It's too dang hot to cook.

Hope you all are doing well, and I will post another update (part 2, since I'm almost positive I've left out major details on this post lol) soon!!

Stay cool (my fellow East-Coasters in particular at the moment considering the insane heat we've got goin on) and talk to you all soon!!

Mwah! xo, Tracy
